Desirability
Eos[1] has a decent base type, an excellent enchantment level, increased accuracy due to the halo, and a powerful brand. It's a viable weapon, even into Zot.
The halo boosts the accuracy of all your attacks, even magic. It also prevents anything from staying invisible and reduces your stealth.
Tips & Tricks
- This weapon can be unwielded so that you can go invisible and get rid of the stealth penalty. Weaker characters may want to unwield this item when entering a new level or exploring, and reequip it when fighting.
History
- Prior to 0.19, it had no halo, but granted See Invisible and disabled teleporting. Also, the enchantment was +11 instead of +10.
- Prior to 0.15, "Eos" had a +11, +11 enchantment.
- Prior to 0.8, "Eos" had a +5, +5 enchantment.
