Throw Icicle is a level 4 Conjurations/Ice Magic spell which hurls an icy shard at a single enemy up to 6 tiles away. It deals an impressive 3d20 damage at max spell power, making it fairly useful even in later portions of the game. Because it deals 40% cold damage and 60% physical, it gives ice elementalists a means of taking down undead foes and ice beasts.

Because Throw Icicle fires a projectile, it can pass through clouds of flame without negating them, allowing you to hit enemies that are behind flame clouds. Thus, it works well with Conjure Flame (though it's rather odd for an Ice Elementalist to have both spells).

This spell throws forth a shard of ice. It is particularly effective against those creatures not immune to the effects of freezing. But as most of its destructive potential comes from strong impact and cutting edges, even cold-resistant creatures are notably affected.
