Useful Info
Vault guards are stout warriors found only in the Vaults, or occasionally guarding its entrance or the entrance to a treasure trove in the Dungeon. They tend to wield powerful branded weapons and sometimes shields. On their own, they're about as dangerous as an orc knight, but a horde of them guards the entrance to the last level of the Vaults.
Tips & Tricks
- With the right gear, they can hit for brutal damage. Use stair dancing to ensure you only face a few at a time.
- Their MR is not great. Confusing, enslaving, or poisoning them is not a bad idea.
- In case of emergency, bring a scroll of fear to send most of them running.
