Useful Info
Toadstools are harmless, fragile plants which only appear when the player worships Fedhas Madash. If a corpse or skeleton is left alone for a while, toadstools may grow on it, speeding up the rate at which the host rots. The toadstool then dies after some time has passed.
Tips & Tricks
You can use Fedhas' Evolution ability to turn toadstools into wandering mushrooms. Alternatively, the fact that monsters can't move through them allows them to serve as roadblocks, slowing a monster's pursuit.
History
Prior to 0.12, toadstools would appear regardless of your character's religion.
