A filling potion of sludge, high in cereal fibre. |
A potion of porridge increases your satiation level by 6000 points, in addition to the 40 any potion is worth. They are thus the most nutritious item in the game for non-carnivores, but they provide no nutrition to pure carnivores (ghouls, kobolds, any other character with the Carnivore mutation at level 3).
Note that potions of porridge are almost always described as a "gluggy white" or "gluggy brown" potion, and are thus one of the only potions semi-reliably recognizable before identification.
Potions of porridge are rare, but spriggans start with this potion instead of bread rations. They would be well-advised to drink it as soon as they get hungry, instead of any bread rations they find. It is lighter, but it is also far more easily destroyed.
That potion was really gluggy!
