This spell finds a forested plane and forcefully intersects it with this world; however, it requires open space to succeed. While the spell holds, some of its terrain and spirit inhabitants may be trapped here. |
Summon Forest summons a section of forest with a friendly dryad in the caster's LOS, occasionally with a small pond in the center. The size and density of the forest depends on the caster's spell power. This spell requires a certain amount of space around the caster to function. Nearby walls may be replaced by trees; should any of the trees be destroyed, the walls they replaced will not return.
Strategy
- The dryad itself isn't very impressive, but the forest and the snaplasher vines will deal good damage to any monster in the area while the dryad is alive. Note that she has no resistances and is vulnerable to fire. This spell works well with other summons which delay the enemy, while the forest deals damage.
- If you really need to dig a space and lack better methods, you can hope that it'll turn into a tree and then burn it.
