Desirability

Its umbra effect reduces both player and monster accuracy, and multiplies the player's stealth modifier by 1.5. Very nice for stealthy characters and still good for most others. The accuracy penalty on this ring is generally negligible.

Followers of Yredelemnul and Dithmenos don't suffer from the umbra's accuracy penalty (though followers of Dithmenos have their own umbra which is larger at higher piety levels).

History

Prior to 0.19, it had See Invisible and rN+ instead of +50 Stealth

Prior to 0.14, it had +4 EV and -4 accuracy instead of umbra.
