Commands

• Pressing s is the command to search for traps and hidden doors.
• Pressing S is the command to save the game.
• Pressing Ctrl-s is the command to save the game without a confirmation query.

While playing in console mode:

• s represents a spider-type monster.
• S represents a snake-type monster.

History

In 0.12 the s command can't detect traps anymore, because the amount of skill required to detect a trap is a random number which is rolled when each trap is created. Prior to 0.12, a roll was made each time you pressed s.
