This ring increases its wearer's resistance to hostile enchantments.

A ring of protection from magic increases its wearer's magic resistance by 40 for each ring worn. This is a slightly larger benefit than armours of magic resistance provide (only 30), but much less than most randarts that have the MR property. You can use the @ key-command to get a rough estimate of your magic resistance.
