Iron Shot is a single target, medium range attack spell that hurls a large and heavy metal bolt at the caster's foes. Similar to Lehudib's Crystal Spear, it is irresistable and powerful, but can miss or be blocked. At maximum spell power it deals up to 171 damage, strongly biased towards the average of 87: 9d18 with a 1/3 chance of 9d19. As it is much easier to find and cast than Lehudib's Crystal Spear, many players feel it is the superior spell.
Monster Spell
When cast by monsters, it is nearly as potent as Lehudib's Crystal Spear, and has caused the demise of many adventurers. The following monsters can cast Iron Shot:

History
Iron Shot was formerly named Bolt of Iron, and then Iron Bolt, but was renamed once more due to the fact that it did not function like the other Bolt spells.
