Useful Info
Necrophages are grotesque undead. Their melee attacks have a chance of draining your max HP with every hit. They only generate inside certain vaults.
Tips & Tricks
- If you find one in early Dungeon, they can be threatening to Alchemists and Necromancers, since they are immune to poison/negative energy.
- They're fragile enough that almost anyone can defeat them from a distance with ranged attacks.
History
- In 0.32, necrophages will no longer appear in the Dungeon, and they will exist only as Yred allies. Also, necrophages will have less HP and a weaker melee attack, 8 -> 6.
- Prior to 0.30, necrophages could spawn in the early Dungeon.
- Prior to 0.26, necrophages inflicted rot instead of draining.
- Prior to 0.24, followers of Fedhas Madash could instantly destroy them with the Fungal Bloom ability.
- Prior to 0.16, necrophages could eat corpses to heal.
- Prior to 0.15, necrophages could equip weapons and armour.
