Cure Poison was a level 2 Poison Magic spell which removed a significant amount of poison from your character. Derided by some as useless, this spell was useful as a makeshift potion of curing, especially if you lacked poison resistance and wanted to conserve your actual potions of curing. It was definitely worth forgetting once you found a reliable source of rPois, though.
Unlike all other Poison Magic spells, the Shining One did not get upset when you used it.
