Zapping a wand of invisibility causes the target to temporarily become invisible. It is essentially identical to the Invisibility spell, and causes a small amount of immediate magic contamination followed by slow accumulation for the duration of the effect. Although wands of invisibility are immune to item destruction, they are slightly inferior to potions of invisibility which inflict less contamination. A wand of invisibility can hold at max 9 charges.
