A small serpentine dragon with a pair of strong forelimbs. Its thick scales give off an eerie green glow.

Tips & Tricks
Although less dangerous than actual dragons, they can still be a menace to unprepared characters. rF+ will help reduce the danger of their breath attacks.
Trivia
The lindworm was thought to be a wingless, bipedal serpent, and was found throughout European (particularly Scandinavian) mythology and folklore. Unlike the wyvern, which possessed only hind-limbs, the lindworm was often thought endowed only with front claws. The lindworm of legend did not threaten with a fiery breath, as does the lindwurm above, but rather a poisonous bite.
Belief in the lindworm as an actual animal persisted well into the late 19th century, until all searches to turn up a living or dead specimen failed.
