It may return the magic spent to cast spells, but lowers their success rate. It always returns the magic spent on miscasts. |
The Energy ego allows the wielder to passively channel MP when casting spells. It can only be found on orbs.
This ego refunds the full MP cost from 20% of successful spell casts. It will also refund MP costs from all miscasts. However, it will increase your raw spell failure chance by +10%. Note that this does not mean that your spell failure actually increases by +10%, as there is a stepdown applied. For reference, the first stack of wizardry reduces raw spell failure by 25%.
