Word of Recall is monsters-only spell which teleports a random band of human intelligence creatures to the caster. The spell takes 30 auts to fully cast, however, so if you can disable the caster, the spell will not take effect. It is also subject to a breath timer, so it cannot be cast repeatedly. The following methods allow you to interrupt Word of Recall:
- Silence and Waterlog
- Engulf-flavour attacks (such as from a water elemental)
- Yara's Violent Unravelling
- Paralysis
- Confusion
- Frenzy
- Fear
- Sleep, through Ensorcelled Hibernation or otherwise
- Full petrification
- A wand of polymorph
- Killing the caster
