| A small, human-shaped agglomeration of salt. It was created by the last fugitive loyalists of the fallen eastern empire, forced in desperation to construct golems from local resources to defend themselves. |
Useful Info
Saltlings are small, fast constructs. Hardly a threat on their own, they tend to appear in groups supporting ragged hierophants, peacekeepers, and servants of whispers. They are found almost exclusively in the Desolation of Salt.
Tips & Tricks
Like most constructs, saltlings make no noise when alerted. Take advantage of this fact by pulling them away from their groups at the edge of your line of sight. The fewer targets between you and an actual threat you have to deal with, the better.
Be wary of getting surrounded by saltlings when near a ragged heirophant - their Resonance Strike deals massively increased damage if you're adjacent to several constructs. Also beware of guardian serpents blinking them next to you!
History
Saltlings were added in 0.19.
