Useful Info
Paladins are powerful warriors with holy attributes; they can be considered the holy analogue to hell knights. They are constantly surrounded by a 2-tile halo aura and generally come with heavy armour, a shield of some sort, and a weapon of holy wrath (generally a blessed blade).
Tips & Tricks
- If you want to get a blessed blade without having to worship The Shining One, paladins generally carry them.
- As with other holy monsters, killing a paladin may result in The Shining One smiting you with Cleansing Flame. If you're low on health, avoid killing any paladins lest you suddenly meet an untimely end.
- Undead and demonspawn characters, beware! Paladins are strong enough without the extra damage from their holy wrath weapons.
- Fortunately for those who would have trouble with them, paladins are extremely rare and generally only appear on holy-themed Pandemonium and Ziggurat floors.
