Grasping Roots is an ability unique to shambling mangroves and Jorgrun which causes the network of roots running beneath the earth to rise. These roots constrict the target, dealing damage every turn until either the player breaks out of the constriction, the caster is killed, or the effect times out. It is analagous to the player spell Borgnjor's Vile Clutch. Targets flying above or swimming in deep water or lava are immune.
