Quaffing a potion of invisibility makes your character invisible for 1d40 + 14 turns. If you were already invisible, your invisibility will be extended by 1d40 - 1 turns, up to 100.
While these potions are useful, they are somewhat uncommon. See the Invisibility page for details on the status effect and its uses. Unlike most other sources of invisibility, quaffing a potion of invisibility does not immediately add to your magic contamination, though you will still accumulate contamination for the duration of your invisibility as normal.
