A potion which can send one into an incoherent rage. |
Quaffing a potion of berserk rage makes you start berserking for 10 to 19 turns (weighted toward 15). Ghouls, Formicids, mummies, and thirsty (or worse) vampires cannot go berserk.
Normal: A red film seems to cover your vision as you go berserk! You feel yourself moving faster!
You feel mighty!
If already berserk: You're already berserk!
If very hungry: You're too hungry to go berserk.
If exhausted: You're too exhausted to go berserk.
Mummy, ghoul, or thirsty vampire: You cannot raise a blood rage in your lifeless body.
With stasis: You cannot go berserk while under stasis.
If mesmerised (not by the obsidian axe): You are too mesmerised to rage.
Affected by Cause Fear: You are too terrified to rage.
Under the effect of Death's Door: Your body is effectively dead; that's not a shape for a blood rage.
History
Prior to 0.9 this potion could be used after drawing the Battlelust card to cancel the effect entirely.
