missing speed table

I'm wielding a short sword of speed (as an Ashenite) and get the declaration by '@' that my attack speed is "blindingly fast". (My Ash-augmented short sword skill is 9,7.) Considering a weapon with higher base dam value for mid game I'd like to have a speed descript table. Just like it is common in MR or Stealth. It would help to determine if lesser stabbing value would be more ort less balanced by better melee. (Wielding a demon trident gives Attack Speed description "below average", a scimitar of holy wrath gives "quite slow". Remember that I prefer to be bound in weapon for harvesting the Ash stats buffs.) Last not least, it shouldn't be a difficult addition if someone just knows where to find the code file. -- Bwijn 09:32, 14 August 2013 (CEST)

Such a table is needed, but I'm probably going to put it on Weapon Speed, which is generally better written. Honestly I have half a mind to expand that article, and delete this one. We certainly don't need both, and this one is just written ...badly. Lots of conversational use of the second person, wanders, doesn't use tables, outdated. Soliciting opinions here: would anyone miss this article? -Ion frigate 11:35, 14 August 2013 (CEST)
I did a tidying up of this article a while back, but under the name Attack speed, not Attack Speed. If you want to reorganize that one a bit, feel free. I'm turning this one into a redirect though. --MoogleDan 15:59, 14 August 2013 (CEST)

I've transfered the discussion beecause nobody would search a discussion on a Redirect page. And I still miss a simple table with speed descriptions and numbers like in MR or Stealth. The Weapon speed article doesn't deliver that. -- Bwijn (talk) 19:43, 18 August 2013 (CEST)

I think the main reason there isn't one currently is that with both Magic Resistance and Stealth, there's no easy way to find the numbers in-game. With attack speed, however, you can tell how fast your attack is simply by attacking. Heck, you don't even need to be in combat; just hit CTRL+Any Direction and you'll attack once, with your numerical attack speed popping up in the Turn Count display on the right-hand side. If anyone has the actual breakdown of which descriptive phrases mean which numerical speeds, post 'em here and I'll make a proper table. --MoogleDan (talk) 22:08, 18 August 2013 (CEST)
