A belligerent testudine with an armoured carapace. Its neck is surprisingly extensible and can reach out and bite from afar. When threatened, it will retreat inside its shell.

Useful Info
Snapping turtles are slow but surprisingly tough reptiles with a nasty reaching bite. When near death, they usually withdraw into their shells in order to heal. They can be found in the Shoals or, on rare occasions, the Lair.
Tips & Tricks
- Their painful reaching attack can surprise you if you aren't expecting it. Try to stay on land where you're speedier than them (in water, they'll outrun most characters). Keep some distance and kite it until it withdraws, then smash it before it can regenerate.
