The flame-wreathed skeleton of a carnivorous fish, darting through air as easily as it once parted water. It burns with a hunger it could not satisfy in life and is singularly driven by in death.
While a single one may be only a nuisance, the swarm is never far behind, and every bite it lands will summon more and more of them until every scrap of flesh on its prey has been devoured. |
Useful Info
Marrowcudas are flying undead fish that can summon copies of itself when biting enemies. Each marrowcuda can have up to 8 clones. If the original marrowcuda is destroyed, all of its clones will immediately disappear. They appear in the early Dungeon and ossuaries.
Tips & Tricks
- Marrowcudas' attacks can only create clones if they do damage. Therefore, heavily armoured characters are less likely to get swarmed by clones.
- Try to target the original marrowcuda if possible. Piercing or AOE attacks shine.
History
- Marrowcudas were added in 0.32 with a new AF_SWARM attack flavour.
