Pressing Issues
0.12 Conversion
- We've been doing good work lately sniffing out the upcoming changes for 0.12 and creating new Crystal Ball Articles for them. If you spot any changes that we haven't yet acknowledged, definitely make the appropriate changes, adjust the page's "History" section, and add the Crystal Ball Articles category tag. We'd like to make the site conversion as painless and quick as possible.
- There are going to be a LOT of new tile images in 0.12. So far our Crystal Ball Articles have only been tracking mechanical changes, not visual. Would everyone be alright if I created a Category:012 Tiles for pages that will need new artwork?
- This is definitely a good idea.
- Image-bot.pl can easily upload all the images in a directory. If the option ignorewarnings is disabled, it won't do anything if the image found in the wiki is identical to the one we are trying to upload. The main issue is that many of images have different names in the wiki and the source code. Manual intervention will be required.
- It won't be fun exactly, but I could power through this myself in a solid afternoon. With the Retired Artwork page involved it'll require manual work anyway. --MoogleDan 14:32, 12 April 2013 (CEST)

- After the recent changes to mon-pick.cc, in 0.12 it will be very easy to know in which places or depths each monster can be generated. I think I will add Location sections to all the pages, like the ones we already have for uniques. --CommanderC 21:30, 12 April 2013 (CEST)
- 0.12 is going to be released very soon (perhaps tomorrow). I want you to know that I have been writing a program that will update all the tables of skill aptitudes that appear in several pages (species and skills). Please, don't lose your time editing the tables of aptitudes. --CommanderC 23:12, 30 April 2013 (CEST)

Missing Categories
- The four derived undead pages still need categories attached to them. If anyone has the time, could they add the appropriate resistance and vulnerability categories?
Speedrunnning, Dungeon Sprint, and Zot Defence
- These pages have always been weak points in our wiki. I've dabbled in the two alternate play modes, but never made a serious attempt at them, and I've never gone for an actual speed run. Could someone with experience in these fields give these pages some love?
Site Redecoration
The CrawlWiki is not a very visually compelling website. If you have suggestions on how we could tastefully change the appearance of the site to make it a little less bland, post them here!
- New background color
- New site logo (the current one really doesn't seem to have anything to do with the game)
