Naga bardings are a type of armor intended for nagas to wear in place of boots, which do not fit on their snake-like lower halves. They provide more AC than boots in exchange for having a slight EV penalty, and can provide even more AC by being enchanted (up to +4). The AC bonus given by a naga barding is not affected by their oddly-shaped bodies. Possible brands include:
- Fire resistance
- Cold resistance
- Flying
- Stealth
- Running (flavored in-game as "speedy slithering")
Non-nagas cannot wear naga barding, though centaurs have centaur barding, a type of barding intended for them.
History
Version 0.12 replaced bardings of levitation with bardings of flying.
