Useful Info
Giant cockroaches are common pests found all throughout the Dungeon. They are faster than the average character, but only pose a threat to severely wounded 1st-level characters. While they are as numerous as bats and rats, their chunks are contaminated.
Tips & Tricks
- Although you're unlikely to notice it, they can cling as though they were in Spider Form. Bear this in mind if, for some strange reason, you need to hide from one behind impassable terrain.
- Their AC can pose a problem for characters with weak starting attacks, particularly those with low-power L1 spells. Don't be afraid to beat them with an unskilled weapon if your spells are repeatedly doing no damage.
