| This spell hurls a bolt containing fiery energy; on piercing a target, it lets loose an explosion that harms nearby creatures as well. |
Explosive Bolt is a level 6 spell only available through a rod of ignition. Each target it hits will cause a 3×3 explosion on the target, as through struck by Fireball.
While it doesn't have perfect accuracy, it can tear through a cramped group of opponents. Also note that the explosions can hurt you, so try to avoid using it against melee opponents.
