But the runner may be snared, the swimmer may be hooked, and the flyer may be shot by the arrow. But there is the dragon. I cannot tell how he mounts on the wind through the clouds, and rises to heaven. Today I have seen Lao-tsze, and can only compare him to the dragon.’”<br>

Useful Info

Storm dragons are enormous, electricity-themed monsters. One of the beefier members of dragonkind, storm dragons are faster, can take more abuse and can deal more melee damage than their fire- and cold-themed cousins, and their breath attack can be particularly devastating if you lack resistance and let them multizap you. Although they can be very dangerous when encountered out of depth, they tend to only generate in the deepest portions of the Dungeon, the Vaults, and the Realm of Zot.

Tips & Tricks

Butchering the corpse of a storm dragon may create a storm dragon hide, which you can enchant to create a storm dragon armour. This provides electricity resistance and strong defense, though at a high enough evasion penalty to make spellcasting very difficult.
