Once the primary guardian serpent of a legendary treasure hoard, she was disgraced after thieves looted it while she slept. She now slithers about the dungeon, seeking vengeance against all would-be looters. She is an accomplished spellcaster, but no more deadly in melee combat than others of her kind.

Useful Info

Aizul the Neglectful Guardian is a very fast unique guardian serpent capable of deadly Poison Magic and a Hexes spell which can put you to sleep for several turns. Although not very dangerous in melee, he can deal huge amounts of poison damage to those without resistance and has much more durability than most monsters at his depth.

Tips & Tricks

  • Melee attacks against you will deal extra damage while asleep. Taking any damage (including poison damage) will wake you up, however.
  • Poison resistance and high magic resistance are highly recommended, and even with poison resistance, expect to take decent damage from his Poison Arrows. If you lack either, definitely consider fleeing this fight until you're better prepared.
  • Aizul has no arms, and thus cannot open doors. Use this to make escaping much easier.
