Useful info
Goblins pose no real threat to most characters - only very early level characters unskilled in fighting and with poor offensive and defensive stats are likely to have problems. They may carry a club, dagger, sling, or very rarely a wand.
Tips and tricks
- Pillar dance to recover if they hurt you too badly, run if they have a wand, and hide around a corner if they fling too many rocks at you.
- Goblins will sometimes pick up items (that you haven't yet seen) from the dungeon floor. Even though killing them offers very little XP, it's usually a good idea because of the stuff they might be carrying.
- Pay attention to the weapons they are wielding. It could be a dagger of electricity or a hunting sling of freezing.
