| An intricate mechanical beetle covered in reinforced metal plates that resemble a shield. It projects a kinetic barrier around its creator while adjacent to them, increasing their armour class.
It will never voluntarily leave its creator's side, and if forcibly seperated, will prioritize returning to them over any other concerns. |
Useful Info
Phalanx beetles are Forgecraft constructs created by the Forge Phalanx Beetle spell. The beetle provides a bonus to your defenses (from +4 to +10 AC), as long as it remains adjacent to you. It will leash to you, meaning it will always remain adjacent if possible and otherwise prioritize returning to your side over attacking anything else.
History
- Phalanx beetles were added in 0.33, as part of Forge Phalanx Beetle.}}
