This contraption, made from a coil and a rod, is buzzing with electricity and can shoot it far, zapping anyone who comes into range. |
Useful Info
Lightning spires are simple defensive structures whose purpose is simple: to shoot electricity at any hero who stumbles into their range. They are fairly fragile, but immune to most elemental spells. They are extremely rare, but can be found defending at least one rune vault in the Abyss.
Spells: Lightning Bolt (3d6)
Tips & Tricks
- Their attacks are weak enough that most characters can survive charging in and smashing them, but electricity resistance wouldn't hurt (and is very highly recommended if you intend to charge a pack of them).
- Ranged fighters can handle them easily by shooting them to death from outside their range. Fire as soon as they enter your line of sight.
- In the Zot Defense minigame, you can summon your own lightning spires once you hit level 19.
