Faerie dragons used to be a race of the same species as mottled ones. Too bad, their vivid colours became their bane, as they alerted potential prey. They are now extinct, and this prized relic is one of the last proofs they ever existed. |

Desirability
Found only by killing the Enchantress, a suit of faerie dragon armour's usefulness is entirely dependent on what the RNG decides to generate. As a mundane +6 mottled dragon armour is already a very effective piece of equipment, however, it doesn't take terribly much to make this item worth considering. If you should happen to encounter the Enchantress in a given game, don't overlook this armour until you've actually seen what properties it has to offer. A +7 mottled dragon armour with clarity, rF++, and rElec is nothing to sneeze at.
