This unfortunate and now massive creature once fed upon the blood of a vampire. Now it wants to feed upon yours.

A vampire mosquito is an undead insect often found in the Swamp and mid-dungeon. They are always found in groups. Mosquitoes are weak but fast, and their bites can heal them.

Strategy

Dispel Undead is very handy against them. Airstrike also works very well. If you have neither, at least try to fight them in a corridor.

History

Prior to 0.11, they had a weaker vampiric attack but an additional sickness attack. Prior to 0.8, they were called giant mosquitoes and were significantly weaker.
