| A formless mass of ancient fire, bound by heat and malevolence. The slightest disturbance will destroy the bonds holding it together and unleash a fire storm. It longs for that release, yet seems reluctant to move while being observed. |
Useful Info
Creeping infernos are self-destructing entities that explode into Fire Storms (8d10 damage) when killed. They are found naturally in Gehenna, or summoned by stokers.
Tips & Tricks
- They have relatively low willpower for a Hell monster - wands of paralysis should have a decent success chance against them, even with minimal training.
- Summons can tank the hit, but make sure you're a good distance away when it happens.
History
- Prior to 0.33, creeping infernos had only 1-2 HP and would behave similarly to lurking horrors instead of moving towards the player normally, but were speed 14. They also had 10 willpower and their Fire Storm did 8d8 damage.
- Creeping infernos were added in 0.28.
