This spell conjures a prism which channels magical energy from its surroundings and unleashes it after a short while as a violent explosion of arcane force. Be warned that the prism is extremely fragile and any damage caused to it may result in premature detonation!
A slender prism that crackles with barely-contained destructive energy. Any blow which cracks its fragile surface is likely to result in a violent explosion.

Useful Info

Fulminant Prism is a level 5 Conjurations/Hexes spell which creates an explosive prism at a smite-targeted location of your choosing. This prism will detonate with a radius-2 explosion after 20 auts, dealing considerable irresistible damage. The prism is fairly fragile and can be destroyed by enemy attacks (though it is immune to most elemental damage). If destroyed prematurely, the prism will create either a smaller, weaker explosion, or no explosion at all (if it is destroyed immediately after being created).

Tips & Tricks

  • Although you need to be place your prism carefully to keep it from being destroyed by monsters, the smite targeting, large area of effect, decent damage output, and ability to blow things up beyond your line of sight makes it a very useful spell. Use it to soften up large incoming opponents by creating an explosion gauntlet for them to march through, wipe out a swarm of smaller foes, or take out statues and oklob plants from a position of safety.
  • Don't blow yourself up.
