Useful Info
Deep trolls are a type of troll found in the lower floors of the Dungeon and the Vaults. They're tougher and stronger than normal trolls, and while they appear singly at first, you'll start seeing them in packs farther down. Such packs may include deep troll earth mages or deep troll shamans, the presence of which makes them far more threatening.
Tips & Tricks
- Their numbers are their only unique trait. Fight them in corridors, or at least avoid being surrounded.
- Take care of their magic-using brethren first, before they have a chance to mess with you. Area-of-effect spells are particularly helpful here.
History
0.12 added magic-using deep trolls, as well as replacing rock trolls with single deep trolls.
