A being of pure chaos, its form is constantly shifting, growing and then losing eyes, mouths, claws and tentacles. It corrupts everything it touches. |
Useful Info
Chaos spawn are weak tier-3 demons with potentially dangerous chaos-branded attacks; each time they hit you, they inflict a random effect on you. In addition, their attacks deal 6-8 extra electricity damage per hit. Possibly more dangerous are the clouds of seething chaos which they leave behind (though the game does warn you if you try to step into one). They are occasionally found in the Abyss or Pandemonium, and some enemy casters may summon them with the Summon Demon spell.
Tips & Tricks
- Kill them at range. Although it's unlikely that their attacks will rot you, confuse you, or send you hurtling into the Abyss, it's best not to risk it.
- They are one of the few demons which lack poison resistance, and they have low HD. Mephitic Cloud may turn them right back against their summoners.
Alternate Tiles
Being creatures of chaos, chaos spawn can take many forms:
The difference here is purely cosmetic. In console, they instead change to a random color every turn.
