Useful Info
Guardian sphinxes are the strongest lategame "sphinx" monsters that have better defences and scarier spells. They appear occasionally in Vaults:1-4, Depths, in Crypt vaults, and in the Tomb:1 main area entrance. Also, they generate wearing cloaks.
