The spectral brand causes a spectral weapon to be created on hit.
Spectral weapon matching your wielded weapon is created. It will follow you and attacks each time you do. Half of any damage dealt to the spectral weapon will additionally be dealt to you, regardless of your defences and resistances. Spectral weapons have one level of resistance to fire, cold, electricity and poison. The weapon monster ignores enchantment and brands (for the Glavie of the Guard, and its strength is increased by Evocations skill.

In addition, it can be generated on any two-handed artefact weapon, along with the unrand Glave of the Guard.
History
- In 0.27, this brand no longer requires Evocations to use.
- This brand was introduced in 0.26, replacing the spell Spectral Weapon.
