Stasis

Bound to the earth, Formicids are the only source of the stasis intrinsic. Stasis provides near-immunity from a wide variety of time and space altering effects, whether you want them to occur or not:

• Teleportation
• Blinking
• Haste, Slow, Swiftness
• Paralysis
• Berserk
• Level shifts in the Abyss

Stasis will not block any of the following:

• Effects that warp space around you: Lugonu's Bend Space, Passage of Golubria
• "Paralysis" inflicted by the onset of stat zero
• Teleporter pads (not to be confused with teleport traps)
• Banishment
• Petrify, Sleep

History

• Prior to 0.25, stasis did not block Swiftness.
• In 0.18, the amulet of stasis was removed, the primary and only way for most characters to get this intrinsic.
• Prior to 0.18, stasis blocked Okawaru's Finesse.
