A noxious and deadly fungus suffused with negative energy. While parasitic in life, undeath has granted it the ability to absorb its nutrients directly from the life force of others.

Useful Info

Deathcaps are essentially an undead form of wandering mushroom which has the ability to drain life from you and your allies from anywhere within its line of sight. They do not occur naturally, and can only be encountered if summoned by a curse toe.

Tips & Tricks

  • Negative energy resistance reduces the damage dealt by their Drain Life spell, rendering them much less dangerous at range. However, it does nothing to prevent their confusion-branded melee attacks. Try not to be adjacent to them without clarity.
  • While these guys aren't harmless, the curse toe which created them is much worse. Don't forget that you need to take out the summoner to stop the flow of fresh summons.
