A ballistomycete is a plant-type monster, capable of spawning ballistomycete spores for both reproductive and combat purposes.
While ballistomycetes no longer generate in the dungeon as of 0.17, they can still be found in sprint or spawned by worshipers of Fedhas Madash.
Ballistomycete Life Cycle
- Ballistomycete spores will wander the dungeon, occasionally leaving grown ballistomycetes in its wake. After wandering for a while, crashing into a creature, or taking damage, a spore will explode, damaging and confusing creatures within 2 tiles.
