Useful Info
Although less deadly than the Fiends, cacodemons are still extremely dangerous tier-2 demons. They wield a wide variety of debilitating ranged attacks, not to mention an irresistible, AC-ignoring energy attack. They are found in the Abyss, Pandemonium, and the Hells, and can be summoned by certain monsters through the Summon Greater Demon spell.
Spells: Bolt of Energy (3d20), Polymorph Other, Slow, Confuse
Tips & Tricks
- An amulet of resist mutation and high magic resistance will protect you from most (but not all) of their attacks; kill them quick to avoid an unlucky Polymorph Other getting through to you.
