Induces a state of bewilderment and confusion in a creature's mind.

Confusion is a dangerous status condition; what few actions it doesn't outright disable are rendered unreliable at best. Confused characters cannot use magic, spells, wands, or shields, and any attempt to move or attack may instead result in stumbling in a random direction. If you encounter any monster capable of confusing you, do what you can to increase your magic resistance. Failing that, prioritize taking them out quickly.
