Smite-targeted

Smite-targeted is a term used for spells and abilities that can target any entity in line of sight, like the titular Smiting spell. Specifically, they are spells with the target or grid spell flags. They are not interrupted by monsters in the way, or certain dungeon features like iron grates. Transparent walls act as they are solid and will block their line of effect.

These player-usable spells and actions are smite-targeted.

• Airstrike
• Haunt
• Inner Flame
• Ranged combat during Portal Projectile
• Poisonous Vapours
• Yara's Violent Unravelling
• Apportation (targets an object rather than a creature)

These spells have similar targeting rules, but can target any grid square, not just those that contain a creature.

• Fire Storm
• Freezing Cloud
• Burst of Damnation
• Lee's Rapid Deconstruction (needs dungeon feature/stone monster)
