Version 0.30: This article may not be up to date for the latest stable release of Crawl.
A deck of magical cards, mainly dealing with various forms of escape. |
The deck of escape is one of Nemelex Xobeh's decks. Under Nemelex, you can hold up to 13 cards of this deck.
It contains the following cards:[1]
- the Cloud (21.74%)
- the Elixir (21.74%)
- Exile (13.04%)
- the Tomb (21.74%)
- Velocity (21.74%)
Strategy
Like most escape items, the deck of escape should be used early and often. Many of these cards can directly affect battles (Velocity, Elixir, Exile), while Tomb requires an open space to use.
This deck is a strong contender for both Triple Draw and Stack Five, as the deck of escape has a strong variety of clashing effects. Conversely, Draw Four is relatively weaker; Tomb tends to be anti-synergistic with most other escape cards.
