Useful Info
Guardian mummies behave much like regular mummies, shuffling into melee with you and attacking as best they can. Unlike standard mummies, they hit fairly hard, move nearly as fast as the average character, have no particular weakness to fire damage, and pack a much more exciting death curse. They are found in or guarding the Tomb, as well as in certain undead vaults and extremely rarely as a boss in the Ossuary.
Tips & Tricks
- Being undead through Necromutation or just by nature will take much of the sting out of their death curse.
- If possible, try to lure them to relatively isolated, already cleared areas first; noise travels far in the Tomb, and you don't want to find yourself slowed or tormented while facing down a dozen angry mummies.
History
- Prior to 0.28, guardian mummies could see invisible.
