Where the walls are black marble, the floors are white and silver, with shades of pink here and there.

Tukima's studio is a beautiful mirror-lined hall of black and white marble. It is filled with the results of his experiments with enchanted weaponry, including an automated device that creates further dancing weapons. The mirrors in the studio will reflect fire and ice conjurations much like normal walls reflect electricity, and they can be easily removed with disintegrate or dig.

From the beginning, the studio branches off into three paths, all of which will lead you to a central chamber with a machine that periodically creates dancing weapons. At either side of this chamber, mirrors block doors leading into treasure chambers guarded by strange machines. There are also secret doors leading into these chambers from the rooms on either side of the central chamber which allow you to bypass the weapon generator.

The bulk of the loot in this area is comprised of the various dancing weapons you encounter (all of which you must defeat before you can pick them up). The two treasure rooms contain a modest sum of gold, a spellbook geared towards hexes and charms (possibly an artefact), and a scroll of acquirement. If you want to wait for a decent weapon, you can, though doing so can be risky -- not only might you be killed or banished by a particularly nasty weapon, there is no food to be found in the studio.

As this is one of the smaller Wizlabs, you won't need much preparation to deal with the contents if all you're doing is going in, getting the treasure, and getting out. Armored melee-oriented characters should be able to overpower the dancing weapons without too much trouble; casters should use non-elemental conjurations or Airstrike. If you plan to stay and look for a good weapon, bring some extra food and some scrolls of remove curse or identify.

Monsters

Dancing weapons - Much like the Hall of Blades, Tukima's Studio abounds with dancing weaponry. The weapons vary greatly in threat level depending on what type they are as well as what sort of brand they have -- a dancing dagger isn't going to be much of a threat (though it may be annoyingly zippy), but a dancing battleaxe of distortion could ruin your whole day. If you're having trouble, keep in mind that dancing weapons can't open doors.

Fortunately, these machines cannot attack. The only thing they can do is blink you around the room and heal themselves in an attempt to stall you long enough for the dancing weapons to kill you.

Weapon Generator

A strange machine.

A mechanical contraption, all hisses and pops. It is highly reflective.
